Chak Baa!..

17th February 2008

alhamdulillah, got time to go online..heh..

just came back from a dae full of unplanned activities..heh..

in the late morning I went out with mum and sis to Novena Square..had lunch at Magic Wok and went window shopping at Velocity..

arrrrrrrrr!..I was so tempted to buy a few outdoor stuff but had to control myself..nak kene jimat babe..ahakz..

after that we decided to catch a movie at Bugis..and guess what?..what?..I thought there was a GV cinema somewhere near Bugis, so I could have used my Safra card to get discount..but I thought wrong..haiz..at last we went to Shaw to catch The Jumper..heh..how was the movie you might ask?..not bad ar..ahakz..it was already 5 plus by the time the movie ends..so we went our separate ways and I went off to Sultan Mosque to meet my friends from Yaqin..

it was a last minute decision for us, Yaqinians, to hold a simple farewell gathering for Bro Rizal who will be embarking on a journey far far away..heh..okie2..he will be working overseas as a PA..oh yah, he will be going to Qatar for a year..

we had dinner at New Victory, ate quite alot though..chicken murtabak, mutton murtabak and prawn masala..and not forgetting, lots of water..heh..after dinner we went off to Esplanade, hoping that we could watch the Chingay which was happening somewhere near the Padang..alhamdulillah, we managed to watch the colourful vehicles going back..ahakz..at least dapat tengok jugak..heh..

I wonder how it would be like leaving home, far far away, for a year..hmm..not being able to taste your mum's cooking, not being able to go out with your friends, not being able to meet your loved ones and etc..it must be painful I guess..maybe it's nothing to some people..unlike me, that time when I went to Taiwan for 3 weeks, it was already painful for me..there's alwaes a reason why we have to go through this kind of challenges and obstacles in life..may we be guided, inshaAllah..

let's pray for the best for Bro Rizal..
