Countdown 2007..

it was a last minute decision for me and a few friends to watch the fireworks along marina bay there..but janji 5 org nak p, in the end 2 org ajer..bueh sey dorg..haiz..nvrmind..

neway, i meet up with Ju soon after i finished my duty for Isyak prayer..went straight to City Hall by bus cos we know the bus will be crowded if we didnt take it from interchange..heh..dpt jgak duduk..after a few bustops from interchange, the bus starts to feel up..punyerlah biseng 1 bus tue..maklumlah, sumer smangat nak celebrate new year..there was this group of mixed bdk2 melayu yg board the bus..they were so rowdy pai nak bual ngan Ju pon susah..maybe i was too soft ar..heh..all the way they were making so much noise..dorg tue dah mcm the centre of attraction g2..

as we reached City Hall, waaaah, so many people ar..then we went looking for a suitable spot to watch the fireworks..tiba2 hujan..take cover!..neway, at that point of time it was oni 10++pm and it was abit early for us to just stand there and do nothing..it was oni the 2 of us ajer sey..lainlah kalu dlm group, conform kecohnyer..so we went puseng2 around the area hoping to waste some time and get the best spot..alhamdulillah we we got a place along the some sort like a bridge where they block it so that people can have more space..

we waited like about 1hr before the fiemwork starts..so kiter amek video, amek gambar, bual2, tengok2 and lain sebagainyer..yg tak bestnyer, there was this 'not local' couple who were beside us..punyerlah irritating, dorg mcm manja2, pelok2, gurau2, joget2..ish..mcm nak smack ajer..tp takper, lg brape minute ajer..tup2 dah tinggal 15min..tiba2 there were some fireworks on top of a building..ingatkn awal2 dah start dah..alaa, dorg acar2 ajer..nak buat kitorg suspended jap..heh..

soon people starts to gather around and crowd the area..then we could hear voices, guess they were the emcees ar..tp kn, aleh2 dorg pekek HAPPY NEW YEAR!..apa sey..kater count down, takder count pon..nvrmind..i started recording the 8min fireworks with my mobile phone..superb sey..you have to see it live to believe it..the feeling was like, waw sey..how i wish i could share the moment with you guys..heh..again the couple were starting to irritate me again..sikit2, WAAAAAH..WAAAAH..eeee, geramnyer..neway, it marked a great history for me as it was my first time watching fireworks during count down to the new year..aisehman, touching to the heart sungguh ar..

after that we decided to go back by taking train from raffles..while walking, i tought i did saw someone i knew..well..we were lucky that we took from raffles instead of CT Hall..we were already in the train went people started pushing from the outside in..STAMPEDE!..dah mcm great spore sale sey..alhamdulillah we reached safely at AMK and decided to walk home..lucky for Ju that he stays nearby..as for me, still a long2 way to go..penat sey kaki jln..i reached home at about 2.30am..alhamdulillah, at least i reached home safely..heh..what and experience not to be forgotten..

Hari Raya Haji 1427H..

we were expecting the arrival of our KOH (Kambings of Honour) to the mosque between 2-4pm..soon after they reached just before 4pm, alhamdulillah..this time the mosque ordered 80 healthy sheeps and alhamdulillah all of them sihat2 belaka..as the volunteers got ready and setup the holding area where the sheeps will be kept overnight, the smell starts to naik..heh..

anyway, the part where the sheeps need to be transported from the lorry to the holding area was quite a hussel cos one will oni follow the rest..yah, so kenelah tarik one by one masok dlm kandang..and the funny part was that a few kambing tried escaping..yah, escaping..some volunteers tried tangkap them sampai lompat pagar and terjatuh pon ader..ish3, kesian..not to worry, all or them were brought back to the holding area where they supose to be..heh..
the following day i was on duty for Maghrib prayer as a muadzin..the worst thing of all, i havent memorise the takbir part..luckily got the notes from someone..

as usual, this day is the day to be looked forward to as muslims all over the world (maybe not all lah) celebrate this blessfull occasion..

anyway, i had to report at masjid by 7am as i was on duty for level 2, to ensure that the jemaah got space to pray etc..alhamdulillah both the 1st and the 2nd prayers were conducted and went smoothly..after prayers, all the volunteers started to get themselves ready for the main event, qurban..which commenced at 9.30am..i was tasked to help with the 'pigang kambing supaya senang nak sembelih' section..whatever you call it ar..heh..i also helped collect the unwanted parts and ensure that it is segregated accordingly..

there was one kambing that gave me a souvenir..i kena kick just above my buku-lali..biler kene tue sakit ar, skrg cumer ader bekas dier ajer..never in my many2 years helping out for qurban kena kick by a sheep..heh..well, like they all say, theres always a first time in everything..aisehman..

just before Zohor prayer we had our half-time break for prayer and also lunch..after that at around 2pm we all started back with the remaining kambings left..for me, i didnt continue what i did just now but i helped out with cleaning of dulangs..heh..mcm rewang g2..yah, after that i just helped out with whatever that needs to be done ar..so thats about it ar..alhamdulillah, all the sheeps had been cleared estimated 3pm spore time..

again i was on duty for Asar prayer as a muadzin..still have not memorise the takbir..haiz..i went back soon after that and came back for isyak prayer cos i was on duty again..this time i finally memorised..heh..alhamdulillah..

A Picnic @ Pasir Ris Park..

tired from the previous dae going on a cruise, had to wake up very early to prepare myself to go picnic plak..picnic with my youth, YAQIN..

i woke up around 5am..tried to pull myself up and started last minute packing of stuffs cause i ll be going there as an advance party to set up the area..my bro drove us there of cause..we reached there around 7.30am g2..semangat ehk..
we were lucky enough dat the area dat we had recced before was unoccupied..alhamdulillah..it was raining though..drizzling i mean..after settling down, pitched the tent, decorate etc., we boredly wait for the rest to come..ngantok sey..at around 9+ i think, the 1st batch came..while waiting for the others, we went to play soccer eventhough the field was muddy..the sisters were sporting enough to join the game..yeah!..best jgak..tp kotoh jgak..heh..our baju, sluar and kaki penuh dengan mud..ish..wat the h_ _ _..bedal jelah..keh3..

at around 11+-12, the next batch came with slambered faces..heh..soon after that our chairman came..after lunch and solat, we went to play soccer, again..heh..after soccer, hmm wat you call dat game yg ada monyet pat tengah2?..hmm, papelah..after soccer we play monyet2..den we play captains ball..it was fun sey..playing in the rain..heh..

after a few times we went for shelter and back to play, we decided to call it a dae..all of us slacked under the shelter and soon after one by one started to leave..haiz..forgot to take grouo photo..sigh..too excited i guess..heh..we had some sort like a debriefing by our chairman and sang a bdae song to those December babies..not well sang but its the tought dat counts right?..yah, right..heh..

A Cruise to Nowhere..

my family decided to go on a 2hr cruise on christmas eve..the cruise, which i thought will be a different experience for me, was something not to look forward to in the future..hmm..
since it was my first time going on board a cruise, i was a little kan chiong..tak sabar nak naik katakn..heh..it was a dinner cum entertainment cruise which lasted slightly more den 2 hrs..eh, i forgot..heh..the cruise was located at Danga Bay, JB..heard of it?..hmm..

as my family board the cruise, we couldnt stop moving around recceing the place..panjat sane, panjat sini..kepo sane, kepo sini..keh3..den as the cruise starts to leave shore, we went back to the main deck where we will be having our buffet dinner..8pm, green light, serbuuuuuu!..so many people rushing to the buffet area..the crew member suroh beratuh ikut line, ramai yg selit2 sey..including myself of cause..keh3..the food was okie lah..i thought it was going to be like real seafood mcm crab ke, lobster ke, sharkfin ke..heh..but it turns out to be food we cn get locally..nvrmind..den we started eating..yum2..

den the entertainment starts..dis 2 guyz are damn talented sey..they can sing and play instruments..not only that, they sang in english, malay, mandarin, cantonese, hokyen, japanese, tagalog..fiyuh!..lucky no hindi..if not i would hv join them on stage and joget..keh3..i love hindi songs..eventhough i dun understand..heh..they sang some familiar songs like My Heart, Getaran Jiwa, Lemon Tree etc..cant rmmbr the mandarin song titles..songs after songs den we decided to take some fresh air outside..eh, i just rmmbrd dat i forgot to mention dat we went there with my mums friend..ghee, im getting old..always forgetting things..nvrmind..neway, tiba2 kn, from far we saw this 'people' wearing costumes mcm pat circus g2..den biler dah makin dekat, astaghfirullahal 'adzim, lelaki+perempuan=bapok..eeeeeeee..they were waiting to start performing on stage where we had our dinner..mostly yg melayu2 sumer kuar from that place and went outside..dorgnyer pakaian, fiyuh, punyerlah seksa..i cant discribe with words ar, too shocked..we din expect such entertainment sey..kiter pat luar pon dpt intip2 cket pat dlm..heh..sungguh mengdropkn iman sey..nasib baik my mum ader..kalu tak..keh3..ish takderlah..

so after dat horrible experience we went back into the main deck and enjoyed the songs again..to my surprise, i was singing along sey..i mean to myselflah..lagu mcm My Heart at least i know the lirics so nyanyilah..heh..
