A New Chapter

14th June 2007

today is the day where I will be experiencing a new chapter in life..

for the past few days I have been receiving wishes, smses and warm regards from various people..telling me that they will miss me and life for them will be different without me..I felt terribly down when I heard them say that..it's like a part of me is badly needed somewhere else and I'm not physically there..you know what I mean right?..

for example, I usually help my Ust for his kuliah or work..now is like he has to find someone else to replace me..he told me this, "btw dear cuzie, seriously im gona miss u..nanti sape nak help me out?"..anyway we are related in some way ar..so yah..things will be different for those who treasure and appreciate someones effort and that the person is leaving..

then there's this adek of mine from MES Camp, his name is Kamarul, his really cute ar..he said this to me, "nanti abg Adi dah takder boring ar"..oh man..then he ask me to msg or call him whenever I got breaks..haiz..

it will be different for me as well as in being unable to help volunteer at masjid or other organisations..I'm like so used to it then aleh2 stop..heh..need to adapt to it..oh well..

just wanna request a small favour from anyone to make supplications for me and other of your friends who will be on the same journey as me..may He guide all of us, inshaAllah..

Back to Back..

last weekend my youth had a 'camp' for ITE Muslim students and alhamdulillah it turn out well..that was my so called final major project before I take a short break from community work and concentrate more on NS as a practicing Muslim..

the event started abit jerky as in the participants didn't really understand what the whole event is all about..soon the main highlighted activities took place and they commented that the activities were 'fun'..anyway, the activities that we conducted were Amazing AMK Race, motivational talk, movie screening, solo night walk and other teambuilding games..it was so packed that most of us didn't had enough or no sleep..that includes me lah..heh..I was like the 'noja' patrolling around the mosque, checking on the participants..

personally the best part of all is the togetherness doing a particular task..it may be something trivial but the most important fact is that we work as a team..for example me and 2 other brothers were helping to prepare breakfast..we were hoping that the sisters would come and help but in the end they slept..so it was like 4 ++ in the morning without any sleep we started preparing..not wanting to 'action' or what, it turn out tasty..heh..oh well..

throughout the whole event I discovered some positive changes amongst the participants..that's what the event is all about, changing oneself for the betterment..

on the same day, 10 June, we also had another event..a photoshop workshop conducted by friends from The MVAC..it was like so rushing that I only had half an hour to get the venue ready etc..oh well, like I'm not used to it..heh..action sey Adi nie..okie2..that's not important..what's more important was that I was starting to doze off during the beginning of the workshop..heh..

Feeling Down

surpirsingly for the past few weeks I have been feeling down..don't know why ley..I think because I will be missing my normal life once I enter NS next week..exactly 7 more days sey..

I will be enlisted to Tekong Island..luckily I got a few friends that I know that will be in Tekong also..example my brother Jason 2 days after me, Azrie Silat also Tekong but don't know when, friends of other friends lagi..so yah..hopefully I won't feel bored there..heh..gonna make new friends who will be with me throughout NS life..

all the best to those going NS soon or dah masok ke..not forgetting other friends yang dah keje or going further studies ke..hopefully I won't forget you guys..inshaAllah..

Nite Cycling

4th June 2007

2 days ago I went for Nite Cycling organised by 3 mosques..it started off from Al-Iman Mosque to Labrador Park and ended back to Al-Iman..

luckily my group members best2 blaka..heh..mostly I knew ar Imran, Hafiz, Firdaus & Ishak..

the journey throughout was tiring due to too many stops as in rest point..that caused most of us to loose momentum..in the end my group was the only team to reach back to Al-Iman just before Syuruk..heh..the rest prayed at Ba'alwi..overall the journey was a fun one..

surprisingly my group won the best group..heh..i guess we played the games well ar..

Dragon Boat Recreation

2nd June 2007

the reason why I couldn't stay till the end for the MES Camp was due to my youth activity which I was the one leading..not forgetting my assistant Azizah for helping..

those attended were mostly Yaqinians but a few were friends of Yaqinians..sad though that a few couldn't make it..oh well..

we were suppose to start at 10am but in the end we started at around 11am..sigh..due to some technical prob that is..heh..biasalah..

it was fun eventhough it was for a short while..thanks to Mohksin who was our instructor and a friend of mine for briefing on the techniques and other stuff on dragon boat..

all together it was a fun experience..gonna wait for other opportunities and let other peeps organise plak..heh..

M.E.S. Camp 2007

1st June 2007

2 days ago, 30th - 31st June Saff conducted an outdoor camp for primary 5 MWTI students, at DFAC..M.E.S. Camp, which means Math-English-Science Camp targeted for experiential outdoor learning..

the experience that I obtained really 'susah nak' describe ar..heh..for example camping with madrasah kids in an outdoor environment and really managed myself to create rapport with the kids..Alhamdulillah..

my group name was Macho Boyz and the kids are really cute ar..dah mcm adek-adek sendiri sey..11 plak tu..heh..luckily I got a partner as in a another faci..fiyuh..

being a faci and 'abang' to the kids simply changed me in how to really deel with them..we did most of the activities together as a team..

"abang gerek ar".."abang handsome ar"..those were the comments that I received from them..heh..tak sia-sia ku jadi faci..

I really enjoyed myself throughout eventhough I couldn't stay until the end..sigh..oh well..
