My Super Packed Weekend..

it has been a week since I last post anything here..well, been away from the things I usually do..

anyway, my last weekend was fun eventhough I had many activities planned..

on Friday, 20th, I was invited to attend this Qiyam activity at An-Nahdhah Mosque..it was a last minute thingy though but it has been a long time since I attended such an activity..like usual I was on duty at Muttaqin..so I rushed back home to change and brought a few stuff along..in the end I didn't use any of them..heh..being 3 hours late, I was wondering what they might be doing at that point of time..

I liked the self-reflection part..really 'mendalam' until tears shed..sob2..really, I am not kidding..with the pitch black surrounding and the stuff that they convey was really deep..if you know what I mean ar..anyway, after we were suppose to rest or sleep..in the end we, the guys, didn't sleep..I tried to sleep but don't know why I couldn't..when time for Qiyam came, only a few attended..eh, I attended okie..heh..after that the guys started preparing breakfast..it seems odd cos the sisters were not helping..heh..

lastly before we all went back, we had a last game..The 'Tikar' Game..interesting game..it test your ability to memorise people's favourite cartoon character..can be anything though..anyway, it was fun lah..you got to try it sometime..

on that same day, 21st, I was suppose to attend a workshop at Taman Warisan but something else crop up..haiz..then around the afternoon I went to En-Naeem Mosque for a camp, organised by NurIkhwan..I wanted to stay till the next day but the next day morning I had a gathering with my nasyid group at ECP..the camp at En-Naeem was mainly on Dakwah..too bad I couldn't stay on..but I stayed till around midnight, cos my friend offered to send me back..heh..so okielah..malam2 naik motor, sejuk sey..heh..

the next day, 22nd, like I mentioned I had a gathering at ECP at 9am..I got lost finding ECP's Mac..was an hour late due to wrong info received..heh..after everyone was there, around 2pm ++, you can imagine what we were doing while waiting for the rest..but, we had fun playing chop-chilli-chop, black magic, captain's frisbee etc..here are some of the pics I took..

The Past Few Days..

at night I went for a kenduri @ Masjid Jamek Queenstown..it was for all Muslim NYP graduating students, initiated by our beloved Malay lecturers from NYPSEG..

it was to commemorate students, who will soon graduate, of their achievements attained..we started off by reciting tahlil and ended off with a small feast..

not many attended but it was worth it..which lecturers would have done that for you?..not many i assume..they not only teach us but they also doa for us..thanks to them we are where we are now..alhamdulillah..

yesterday, like any normal Fridays, was a blessfull day for all Muslims..

for me, it was my turn on duty as the muadzin @ Al-Muttaqin Mosque..I was quite worried though cause I still had a sore throat..since the 1st time I tried being a muadzin till now, I still have this nervousness in me, although its my many months being one..heh..being in front of so many people sometimes brought goosebumps..people are watching you whether you like it or not..but I have always believed that everytime I am on duty, I have performed my best..only Allah knows..

today I was running around from one place to another..

around 8am in the morning, I had badminton training @ Al-Muttaqin Mosque..it wasn't really a training ar, more like suka-suka ajer..heh..

then at 10am, I went to school for a NYPMS activity, which lasted till 2pm..fiyuuh..

now, I am at Al-Muttaqin for a syarahan..guess what, Sis Ayu Stong is here..heh..

in the morning I went to mejid to do some personal office work..heh..then at around 2pm meet up with my youth @ Marsiling MRT, to attend a mosque staff's wedding..click HERE to view all the pics..

then after that we went to Causeway Point, don't know why we went there in the first place..heh..being our normal selves, we had the time of our lives..laughing and giggling non-stop as we discussed about some stuff..

Back from Stong..

so soon..felt that the 4 days wasn't enough..heh..nevertheless, i did enjoy myself..alhamdulillah..

hmm, not sure whether i should share my experience here or not cause i think it wouldn't end..heh..i think the pics that i took could roughly tell you the whole journey..

here goes!..

since the event was called XPDC Ukhwwah, the main objective was to go through the journey as a team..all for one, one for all..or isit the other way round?..hmm..

it was organised by SAFF Perdaus and a total of 23 members attended..

the most disappointing thing was that we didn't managed to reach the summit of the mountain, as we did encountered some problems..but, but, we did went to enjoy the waterfalls..yahoo!..who would want to miss that..

besides that, we went through many obstacles as the terrain was challenging ar..for example, caving, boulder hopping, boulder climbing, trekking through jungles, sliding slippery routes, repelling etc..but alhamdulillah all of us managed to overcome them..

wonderful moments such as admiring the sun rising, observing Allah's creations and participating in ta'aruf activities are one of the many memorable moments that couldn't be forgotten..especially when we played this particular ta'aruf game where we were to share about ourselves and also others shooting us with hard-to-answer questions..example, "biler nak kawin?", "biler nak kawin?" and "biler nak kawin?"..funny lah that sister..

our local guide was an interesting individual..he's good at what he does..his knowledge of the forest was really outstanding..eventhough he was a bit crazy..yeah, not that crazy crazy but crazy..hmm..he told us to keep quiet while trekking but in the end he himself sang..heh..if got a chance to join Kelantan Idol, maybe he can win..keh3..anyway, thanks to him we learnt alot about the natural creations, animals living in the jungle etc..alhamdulillah..

alhamdulillah, we came back in one piece..next XPDC, Gunung Tahan..yahoo!..hopefully blom masok NS..heh..

after having some rest, around evening like that I met up with my nasyid friends for a lil' gathering @ Zam-Zam..HERE are the pics..we had so much fun posing and taking pics..typical of us..heh..enjoy!..

Off to Stong..

tomorrow will be The Day..the day that i have always been waiting for..the day that i will embark a new journey..a journey to where no man has ever conquered before..where you might asked..heh..kwang3!..

tomorrow me and a group of friends will be going on an expedition to Gunung (Mount) Stong, somewhere in Kelantan Malaysia..inshaAllah it will be a 4 day 3 nights thingy..eeee, so exciting!..

i will be back with lots of pics to share with you..yeah you!..

do make doa for me and my friends yah..

Maulidur Rasul..

yesterday was a tiring day for me and those involved with Maulid @ Al-Muttaqin..although it started raining in the morning, it still continued drizzling throughout..ignoring the rain, the event still went on..

our nasyid was "okie2" according to our trainers..but we did our best..although there we some hiccups here and there, our trainings paid off..thnks to our vocal trainers Ust Ahmad and Ust Naufal and not forgetting Ust Rashid in helping out with percussion..

in the night me and a few friends decided to go to Woodlands Stadium for another Maulid event..it was my first time attending such event..the stadium was packed..luckily we managed to get a first-class seat..heh..

there were performances by Hijjaz, kumpulan2 kompang and a Forum..the event dragged quite a bit..overall, the event was great..alhamdulillah..
